Stress Test...: Chest pains that occur at rest and not with exertion are generally not due to coronary insufficiency, or blocked arteries. If however these are occurring with exertion and are relieved by resting, they most likely are! episodic chest pains may be missed by an ECG if not done during the chest pain. You need a treadmill stress test to be sure.
