A member asked:

Is it normal to sleep on your right arm, have it go numb, then have residual tingling the next day, well after blood flow was restored?

Yes and no: The first part is normal. However normal sensation should return quickly once the prssure is removed and the blood flow returns. The lingering numbness could indicate aproblem with the spine in the area where the nerve emerges. You should have it evaluated, possibly with an xray.
