A member asked:

How to tell if my teeth are too wide to have a gingioviplasty/crown lengthening procedure done?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doubt it..: Crown lengthening is performed in order to improve the available tooth structure present in order to retain a cap or crown. Unless there is significant bone loss around a tooth, this procedure can usually be performed.
