Probably: The contact lenses correct you for far away vision. At 44 years old you will have some degree of presbyopia (loss of ability to focus up close) and with the lenses may have some reading difficulty. Ask your doctor whether you can make the lenses a little better for near without jeopardizing your distance vision.
