Sensitive fillings: Some sensitivity following fillings is common. The larger & deeper the filling, the more likelihood of this occurring. Avoid hot and cold foods and liquids, and stay on a softer diet. It is always best to call the dentist who did the fillings, inform him\her of this and see what is suggested. Your dentist might want to see you to check the bite & the fillings or suggest you wait it out a few days.
