A member asked:

Do people ever get a seizure due to the sight of blood?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vasovagal rxtn: Some people are overly reactive to pain, sight of blood, foul odors, and can faint. This is syncope, not a seizure. However, if one faints, and does not reach a supine posture, there may be transient hypotension, which decreases brain blood flow, and some secondary seizure activity may occur. This is not epilepsy.
