Possibly: Concerta, like other forms of methylphenidate and amphetamines can cause elevation of blood pressure. If yoiur blood pressure is already elevated youir doctor should carefully monitor your blood pressure while taking concerta. Speak with your doctor about this and alternative medications that do not effect blood pressure.
