Different meds: After a trial of lifestyle changes (diet and exercise) there are many classes of anti hypertensives to use. Often first line is a diuretic which has proven to be very successful in preventing mortality and morbidity from htn. But beta blockers, ace inhibitors, calcium channel blockers and others are used with great results.

Supplements: If top number is high (systolic) need anti-inflammatory like omega 3 or essential fatty acids, nac to lower homocysteine and/or garlic supplements -will address GI cause for high BP - if bottom number high (diastolic) take shiitake mushroom (any mushroom) supplements - will have beta glucans to relax vessel wall. For pemf setting use 50 sensitivity (<40 micro tesla) on kidney area for 16 min.
