Therapy: Find a therapist wi/ whom you feel comfortable talking. Cognitive & esp. Behavioral therapy may be particularly effective. Simply talking about how you feel, by itself, may take a long time to bring change. Doing something that gives you a different experience can be key. Acting yr way into feeling & thinking differently can work better than trying to think or feel yr way to acting differently.

Voices You Carry: It's a painful thing not 2 feel good about urself. I wonder what kind of "mirroring" u got when you were young - what u heard about urself from adults around u, esp ur caregivers, while growing up. If their voices were critical & harsh, vs. Nurturing & encouraging ... If they did not seem 2 notice the positive things u were doing ... U may still be carrying around their judgments.
