See below: Very sorry to hear this. Without more information about her illness, it would be very difficult to even speculate as to her awareness. If she is truly in a "coma" as described by physicians, she is likely not fully aware or you but human consciousness is an incredibly complicated entity. I would never rule out anything. She may not appear aware but her unconscious may be. Praying for you.
