Is there a way to quickly get rid of this giant cold sore on the side if my tongue?

Tongue 'sore': A non healing lesion on the lateral border of the tongue need professional evaluation without delay. The differential diagnosis includes: 1. Tongue cancer 2.Infection bacterial or viral 3.Re-occurring trauma 4.Immune compromised diseases 5.Others do not delay!

Evaluation needed: Giant cold sore on side of the tongue can be from trauma of a broken tooth or filling, tongue biting, burn or it could be a cancerous lesion. If it is trauma, protecting the sore and treating the cause should result in a normal tongue in 3-5 days. Obviously, if it is cancer, treatment will be needed to fix the problem.
