Canker sores: There are many otc remedies for canker sores that you can get at your local pharmacy. Ask the pharmacist which one he\she recommends. Most patients just avoid spicy and acidic foods and wait it out. Rinsing with salt water and diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide (1:1 with water) may help. If need be, you can see your local dentist for more effective treatment.
