Not related: Whille tthee iud strings may increase diischarge it should not cause yeast infection. Hve you actually seen a doctor for evaluation or just called in and gotten an rx over the phone ? I would suggest being seen and evaluated and occasionally people can have resistant strains of yeast which may be your issue and you could need different treatment.
