Unlikley: We do not see more yeast infections in women who have any form of IUD, or any other birth control for that matter. However, 1 in 10 women will experience recurrent vaginal yeast infections for no obvious reason - that can be treated and suppressed with very good results. Ask your doctor about suppressive medication for the yeast.
