Exercise: Deconditioning from lack of exercise can aggravate neuropathy and arthritis. Progressive exercises such as resistance training and low grade aerobics (walking or water exercises) will help you be stronger, will help the nerves coordinate muscle contractions which will help protect your joints and help to prevent other problems such as falls.
