Gastroenteritis: Your symptoms could represent gastroenteritis. Mostly due to a virus, but sometimes could be bacterial and antibiotics may help. Other considerations include inflammatory bowel disease, peptic ulcer, and commonly acid reflux (also called gerd). If all causes are excluded another possibility is irritable bowel syndrome.
