Customized regimen: The mckenzie method for evaluation and treatment is generally most useful for treating acute, subacute or even chronic disc-related pain. The method aims for a mechanical diagnosis, not a pathoanatomical diagnosis. The original mckenzie position is resting face down on a table that raises the upper body in extension. The physical therapist customizes the position and regimen for each patient.

Depends on problem: Robin mackenzie , accidentally found hyperextending spine prone position , gave relief for back problem patient , from this whole system treatment was developed. Your disease ( back pain ) has to be classified , has to under go prescribed exercises , by a mackenzie certified professional to get full benefit , find one in your location , if you don't then it is not mackenz system of treatment
