No: Most ts patients have comorbidities (other disorders occurring with the condition) that may present as different behavioral or learning problems. These include adhd, anxiety, learning and aggressive disorders. All these conditions need to be treated simultaneously to maximize outcomes in ts patients.

Most have ADHD & OCD: Comorbid conditions: adhd & odd may be severe "teaching the tiger") is a good book. Language- based learning disabilities, habit disorders ( hair-pulling, nail biting, skin-picking), OCD also can be severe. Other anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, coprolalia & copropraxia (saying/doing "filthy"things. Sometimes Asperger syndrome co-occurs. See tsa.Org.
