Wait for path: Impossible to tell, you have germ cell tumors and pineal malignant tumors and metastasis to reckon with, serum and CSF testing for markers (betahcg and afp) would help for germ cell tumors but if they sent pathology there is no point speculating - just wait for the final path results.

My son had MRI that showed 8mm cyst on pineal gland in his brain. How concerning is this? He has to have a repeat scan in one year.
