Abdominal pain: Sounds like your pain is from the gas moving through you transverse colon. Also the gas has to travel from the ascending colon to make a turn to the transverse colon and then turn again to the descending colon. Stretching of the bowel with gas can give you pain as you describe. Generally resolves as the gas resolves. Complicating the is the Lorcet (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) you are using which can cause constipation.

Gas pain: Based on the information you provided, i would think of gas pain, since no other data is included. Try to limit foods that make you feel worse. Simethicone may help. Occasionally, warm applications may relax the distended bowels with relief of pain.
