Can early ultrasound show a late ovulation?

No: I'm not quite sure what you mean by "early" ultrasound. The only foolproof method to prove ovulation is the development of a pregnancy in that particular cycle. Otherwise, proof of ovulation is, at best, an educated guess.

Not always : Sometimes us findings are not helpful determining if someone has ovulated.
