Not really: Stess test is for function of myocardium and detects deficiency in blood or perfusion to myocardium.Different kinds of stress test include electrocardiogram, echocardiogram and nuclear medicine type.Nuclear and echo type are more sensitive.Usually exercise in form of treadmill is included to determine results of test.Some patients who can't exercise given medications to speed up heart rate.Ask dr.
