A COUPLE THOTS: Squiggly lines in the visual field could be of retinal origin, perhaps associated with migraine, but also, consistent with so-called "obscurational episodes", which occur when intracranial pressure rises, most commonly seen with pseudo-tumour cerebri. Suggest having your ophthalmologist evaluate first, and if no answers, visit neurosurgeon.

Hydrocephalus: It is unlikely that hydrocephalus is causing your brown squilly lines - i would suggest seeing a neuro-ophthalmologist for a formal evaluation and see if they can find a source or etiology for this.
