Hydrocephalus shunts: An interesting question as I have not seen a patient with these types of visual symptoms - if you are not having headaches or signs of hydrocephalus likely not related. I would seek the advice of an eye doctor and see if they find anything significant.

Can affect vision: The squiggly lines are more in the category of a migraine response, but hydrocephalus can reduce visual acuity, and on occasion, fluctuations of increased intracranial pressure may result in periodic visual obscurational events.
