Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and creat: Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) is not one of the drugs that elevate serum creatinine. Causes that do so acutely are obstruction, drugs that injure the kidney and dehydration, among others. Do any of these apply to you?
