Am i or the baby at risk if i have gallstones?

Baby NO: You could get cholecystitis or inflammation, usually treatable. Some need cholecystectomy if repeat episodes or progressive disease. There are some gallstones that come from hemolytic disease. Sickle cell etc. If the child has those conditions, they can develop gallstones over time.
