A member asked:

Recently having persistent light yellowish colored stools. almost like a babies stool. i had gall bladder removed years ago so it's not gall stones. is this something concerning and serious?

Stool color is derived from the ultra green bile added in transit. It changes through greens to yellows to browns based on the time needed for transit and the effect of germ action on the pigment. I do not consider the color change either worrisome or unusual. It usually signals things moved through quicker.
