Heavy lumpy and tender breasts for a month been checked by my doctor! why is this continuing ?

Fibrocystic breast: Many women have fibrocystic breast which is associated with the changes you describe. If you have not had u/s or mammo then i recommend re- eval by doctor. If you are taking in caffeine i recommend you cease and see if this helps your discomfort.

Normal variation: Fibrocystic breasts is the technical term and is very common in many, many women. I usually point it out doing breast exams so women know what it is. It is caused by hormones and breast structure. Sometimes limiting caffeine and taking vitamin e can make it better, but in my years have not found it real effective treatment. Birth control pills can make it worse. Still do your self brest exams!
