See a doctor: When women have irregular menstrual cycles it frequently means they are not ovulating. If you have not seen a gyn for this problem, you need to! there are many other possible causes of this bleeding which can cause the bleeding , pain and infertility such as infection and fibroids to name a few....

Need eval: Not sure if you have seen a doctor but of course this is first step. Conditions such as endometriosis, polycyctic ovarian syndrome, or fibroids. You need an u/s and pelvic exam and possibly further test. There is a med you can take to help the bleeding stop but has to be prescribed by your doctor. If your concerned w conceiving- then you will benefit from seeing fertility specialist.
