Is it okay to use lemons for skin lightening purposes or would it harm the skin?

Dry skin: Lemons are citrus fruits and contain vitamin c, which is also called ascorbic acid. Probably the worst thing you would notice is a stinging sensation if you had a cut in the skin, or dry skin. A better way to lighten skin is to use sunscreen and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
