Spasm of opposite ms: When brain command one muscle , the opposite muscle have to relax--if both contract same time, dystonia occurs due to stiffening around the joints--or one group of muscles overwhelm the opposing group.

Various ways: Depending on the cause, extent and severity dystonia can manifest as spasms from head to toe, abnormal posturing, pain, spasms, and lip smacking.
