A member asked:

Having cervical dystonia, can i still go to the gym , can i lift weights or what can't i do?

Your primary tx : Provider who knows you and the specifics of your condition is the only person who can and should make such recommendations. While i was looking this up i did find that there's a new botulinum treatment for this condition that you may or may not have been given already. Even physical therapists before doing any work on someone with cervical dystonia are supposed to run you through a number of mobility tests in order to determine just how far they can go with the physical therapy. Therefore, no one other than your treatment provider will be able to advise you regarding your question. Best wishes and have a happy new year.
