Start on back always: Once a baby begins to turn over it is hard to control how they will end up sleeping in the night. However, you should always start them on their back, regardless of how they end up.The crib death risk has peaked and is declining at 4.5m, but it is not gone.To be practical i don't spend the night re-positioning a baby on its back, but i start them out that way.
