A member asked:

My 1 month old baby struggles to sleep on the bed by herself but if i hold her close to my chest (tummy to tummy) she sleeps ?

Dangerous: If you want the kid to ever become able to sleep alone, start now or soon. Now you are letting her "remain in the womb". She will likely have some restless nights for a while & fuss due to change. You can stay nearby if you wish & talk/calm her from a distance, but avoid direct contact. Within 2 weeks she will sleep alone. In the US we loose ~100 babies a year to co-sleeping/suffocation.
