Asthma?: This sounds a lot like asthma. The symptoms are typically worse in the morning. They can be brought on by many triggers, including pollens, environmental toxins, and exercise is a very common trigger. Laughing and any other type of general stimulation can trigger an event. There is often tight feelings in the chest and a dry, hacky cough. Please have an evaluation as effective treatments exist.

Asthma: These symptoms sound consistent with asthma. Without a fever or productive cough, prolonged wheezing and chest tightness in a young woman is usually asthma. You can confirm it with pulmonary function testing from your physician and use a home peak flow meter to assess if you have peak flows below normal for your age and gender.
