No: Basically, trying to prevent the AAA from rupturing or leaking. This can be done with surgery (open vs. Placed via blood vessel) or with medical management and follow-up..The most "natural" thing is to do nothing, but this has a much higher death rate than surgical repair or blood pressure control with meds. Avoiding stress, tobacco, etc. May help keep BP down when used in conjunction with meds.

NO: There are no natural treatments that I am aware of for aortic aneurism. Treatment is to replace that segment of the aorta or place a stent across it to stabilize it. The stents have become very popular in the last few years and are much easier to recover from than the surgery to replace the aorta.

NO: Need to be followed with yearly ultrasounds. Usually treated when 5 cm in diameter. Most get endograft.
