Unanticipated : Minocycline can rarely cause hemolytic anemia (breakdown of red blood cells) which can in turn cause dark colored urine (hemoglobinuria). Rhabdomyalsis can also cause dark colored urine (myoglobinuria) and this would be even less unlikely from minocycline. Other medications and food additives are considerations. It could still be blood. Inform your doctor.
