Search Internet: I just did a quick search online and found out that family physicians in the department of family medicine at emory perform flexible sigmoidoscopies (http://www.Emoryhealthcare.Org/family-medicine/) which makes sense as they are a training center for our future family physicians. I'm sure there are other family docs who do so, too. It's just a matter of doing a quick online search.

Ask family doc: Your family doctor is usually a good first line of information on good doctors. In general, a GI endoscopy is best done by a GI endoscopist (not general practitioner). Online searches may be a good start as well.
