Wide range of normal: We use body mass index (http://www.Nhlbi.Nih.Gov/guidelines/obesity/bmi/bmicalc.Htm) to calculate normal weight for given height, regardless of gender & skeletal frame. As you can see, one size doesn't fit all. Still aiming for bmi of 18.5-24.9 is considered normal, assuming female waist <35" & male waist <40". Ugh, but if you're <19yo, we also need to take age & gender into account using bmi-tile.
