The function of the immune system should be intact unless physical stress is inflicted on the body. If you have a therapist around you, seek their advice, they can help you manage your stress.

Stress not good: Chronic stress is not good for anyone and potentially can affect your immune system although it is difficult to prove with double-blind studies. The logical way is to remove the cause of the stress which is not always possible. Other than that, a regular exercise program, yoga, or meditation may help reduce stress.
