How severe?: Land rovers are fairly heavy vehicles and unfortunately, your foot was not made to endure trauma. It is likely that you have damage to the skin and soft tissues (tendons, muscles, fat) and since foot bones are not the most robust, you may have a fracture. Broken bones shift and so things may not be lined up right to maximize healing. Get to a doc, get x rays and find out what is wrong.
