Convincing: I would have a frank discussion with your brother, about your concerns. Explain that you are making the suggestion out of concern, not because yoiu are angry with him. Explain seeing a psychiatrist is nothing to be ashamed of. The relationship between a psychiatrist and a patient is private and privaleged. There is no reason to fear others will find out. He coan always discontinue the sessions.
