Balanced diet: No specific vegetables are required for good vision if you have a reasonably balanced diet (extreme cases of vitamin deficiency excluded, which are rare except in cases of malnutrition). Generally, leafy green vegetables such as kale, collard greens, turnip greens have lutein which is good for the retina. Sources of antioxidants like vitamin c and e, and beta carotene are good. Omega 3 also.
