See dentist: There will be an increase in the amount of salavia produced with a new denture. You may have more drooling than ususual and it can take some time to learn to speak properly again. Be patient and keep trying to wear the denture. It is not easy for some people to get used to a denture. That being said please call your dentist about your problems and schedule an appointment for adjustment.

New dentures: Wow, you are very young to have a full denture. Going from natural teeth to a full denture is a drastic change and takes time to accommodate to. Be patient. Practice talking out loud to yourself. Expect adjustments over the next few weeks to help resolve issues. Occupy your time and thoughts with things you enjoy. Consider implants if at all possible which are more like your own teeth.
