i feel like i'm choking on my saliva it feels like its dripping in the back of my throat. when it happens my mouth gets dry but i still feel the drip?

Post-nasal drip: You may have a condition termed "post-nasal drip"-which basically means secretions from your nasal cavity are running down your throat. Sometimes this condition may respond to antihistamine medication such as cetirizine or loratadine.

Postnasal drip: You probably have postnasal drip or drainage. Typically as result from sinus allergy or inflammation. Make sure that you see a doctor for full evaluation.
