Depends...: Clogged ear and ringing (tinnitus) may be indicative of several things, so it is best to see your doctor for an ear exam and possible hearing test. Although ear wax can sometimes cause this, hearing loss and certain inner ear conditions such as meniere's disease may result in ear fullness and tinnitus. Your doctor may refer you to an ENT for further evaluation.
