Tinnitus : The symptoms you have are called tinnitus . Most of the time it is subjective.I.E no other person can hear that sound. Some times doctor may hear a sound with stethoscope on head or ear. This is called objective tinnitus . For subjective sound no effective treatment is available . For objective sound there is possibility of successible treatment

Also make sure your not taking aspirin products as sometimes this can produce this sound too thru thinning of the blood.
