When is chickenpox not contagious anymore?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

When last spot dry: The contagious period of chickenpox extends from 24-48 hours before the onset of the rash for six to seven days.Over that period the average person will have 200 to 300 spots, that go through stages and dry.As these all reach the crusted dry stage, or 6-7 days out, you are no longer contagious.
