A member asked:

I just got diagnosed with shingles. my bf never had the chickenpox but got vaccinated. am i contagious to him? do i have to stay away from him? help.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bf okay: If the Bf had chicken pox vaccination, he should be okay and not be susceptible to the virus. To be sure you Bf may get a blood test to see if he has antibodies to chicken pox virus.
