A member asked:

How much time it might take to remove the chicken pox spots completely?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Up to a year: Depending on a variety of factors, the irregularity in skin texture and pigment caused by chickenpox may be noticable for a year or so after the disease. Liberal use of a sunscreen after the process resolves can decrease the pigmentary effects, but individual factors have a srtong effect.Sole of the darker pigmented persons will see more pigment change than those with lighter skin.
